Creating Pathways of Success for Teens & Young Adults

SPARK is an effort within the Rotary Club of Harwich-Dennis which offers support to teens and young adults within the Harwich-Dennis community who need services or assistance while in High School or who are transitioning to College or the Workforce.
 
The Rotary Club of Harwich-Dennis works with the Department of Children and Families of Cape Cod, Foster Parents, First Responders, Local Community Organizations as well as the Guidance Departments at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School, Monomoy High School and Cape Cod Technical High School to identify the needs of our local youth and young adults, helps facilitate meeting those needs, in order for them to transition from High School to College or the Workforce.
 
 
 

Ways SPARK Can Help

Through working with our Resource Partners, the Rotary Club of Harwich-Dennis has identified needs we can assist with in the categories of Transportation, Housing, Education, Transitioning to the Workforce, Mentorship and Life Essentials.  Further examples are below. 

 

Transportation

SPARK can help with Driver's Education, Driver's Hours, Vehicle Repairs, and Car Insurance

Housing

SPARK can help with completing Applications, Monthly Rent and Security Deposits

Mentorship

SPARK can help with Career Guidance, Introduction to Trades, Developing Personal Budgets, Completing Applications for College, Scholarships and Financial Aid

How to Make a Request

If you are a student or young adult who lives in Harwich or Dennis, applications for requests can be obtained in the High School Guidance Offices in Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School, Monomoy High School, Cape Cod Technical High School or if you are student or young adult under the care of the Department of Children and Families, through your DCF coordinator.
